Letshego Holdings (Namibia) Limited announced change to the company board of directors. Ms. Kamogelo Chiusiwa, as non-executive director and representative of the majority shareholder on the Board, has tendered her resignation as a non-executive director of the company on 26 June 2024, which will become effective on 1 July 2024. The reason for resignation relates to the rotation of director nomination from the shareholders.

Her resignation would also apply to the subsidiaries of the company. Ms. Chiusiwa has served on the board since 12 July 2021. Considering the rotation of directors, and in Ms. Chiusiwa's stead, Mr. Richard Ochieng has been appointed as non-executive director of the company effective 1 July 2024.

Bank of Namibia has approved the appointment of Mr. Ochieng, as a non-executive director, subject to conditions associated with a Banking Institution and its holding company. His appointment would also apply to the subsidiaries of the company. Mr. Ochieng is a seasoned and highly accomplished enterprise risk management certified professional (ERMP) with wide-ranging risk and leadership experience in banking and microfinance sectors across 15 countries within the African continent.

Mr. Ochieng currently holds the position of Group Chief Risk Officer at Letshego Africa Holdings Limited (LAHL).
