MIAMI (AP) _ Lennar Corp. (LEN) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $1.32 billion.

On a per-share basis, the Miami-based company said it had profit of $4.55. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $5.02 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $4.92 per share.

The homebuilder posted revenue of $10.17 billion in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $10.24 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $4.61 billion, or $15.72 per share. Revenue was reported as $33.67 billion.
