VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

PURCHASE OF SHARES IN THE COMPANY

BY CONTROLLING SHAREHOLDER

This announcement is made by Leader Education Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries and consolidated affiliated entities, the "Group") on a voluntary basis.

The Company was informed by Mr. Liu Laixiang ("Mr. Liu"), a controlling shareholder, the chairman and an executive director (the "Director") of the Company that, through his 100% owned company, Junhua Education Limited ("Junhua"), he has purchased an aggregate of 5,675,000 shares of the Company (the "Shares") on the market on 8 September, 9 September, 21 September,

22 September and 23 September 2020, the details of which are as follows:

The Company was also informed by Mr. Liu that the purchases of the said Shares show his confidence in the prospect of the Group and, subject to applicable laws and regulations, further purchase(s) of the Shares of up to 3,325,000 Shares may be made on the market depending on market conditions.

Immediately after the purchases of the said Shares, Mr. Liu is interested in an aggregate of 496,675,000 Shares, representing approximately 74.5% of the total issued share capital of the Company as of the date of this announcement. Amongst such 496,675,000 Shares, 196,675,000 Shares are held by Junhua, and 300,000,000 shares are held by Shuren Education Limited, a company 100% owned by Ms. Dong Ling, the spouse of Mr. Liu, an executive Director and a controlling shareholder of the Company.
