Lazard Asset Management (LAM) announced today that it is strengthening its leading Global Thematic platform with the addition of Sarbjit Nahal as a Portfolio Manager / Analyst. The addition of Mr. Nahal bolsters Lazard’s Global Thematic Equity strategies, which seek to benefit from structural change in industries and companies around the world.

Mr. Nahal will be based in London and will work closely with Steve Wreford and Co-Portfolio Managers John King and Nicholas Bratt to identify and capture the key themes shaping the investment landscape. Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Nahal was a Partner and Head of Thematic Investing at Signal Capital Partners, where he was responsible for integrating long-term themes into the firm’s investment decision-making process. Previously, he was Managing Director and Global Head of Thematic Investing Strategy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he received global recognition for his thematic research. He has also held investment roles at Société Générale and Credit-Mutuel-CIC.
