Kwang Ming Silk Mill Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 210.140 million compared to TWD 262.193 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 8.590 million compared to TWD 13.982 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 11.348 million compared to TWD 14.203 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.28 compared to TWD 0.35 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 449.616 million compared to TWD 536.785 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 583.004 million compared to TWD 32.802 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 550.356 million compared to TWD 28.241 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 13.6 compared to TWD 0.7 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 13.54 compared to TWD 0.7 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include cotton cloth, artificial fibers, nylon fabrics, silk, polyester fabrics and weaving fabrics, among others. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the production of wedding dresses, garments, sports, casual wears, household decorations, curtains, industrial fabrics, recyclable polyester textiles and lining cloth, among others. The Company is also involved in the processing of fabrics, as well as the purchasing and distribution of fabric raw materials and products. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan.
