Al-Mattar: KIB reaffirms its commitment to safe and sustainable development across all sectors and departments

Kuwait International Bank (KIB), in cooperation with Kuwait Resources House (KRH), participated in the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) conference and workshop on Doing Business in Kuwait. Barrak Al-Mattar, General Manager of Information Technology at KIB, took part in a panel discussion on digital transformation strategies.

As a representative of the Bank at the conference, Al-Mattar said: "At KIB, we are committed to partaking in such meaningful events and implementing the vital recommendations proposed by them. This comes as part of our advanced strategy to enhance the bank's digital infrastructure and provide secure electronic products and services that meet the needs of our individual and corporate customers alike."

He added: "This event occupies a special place in this field, as it brought together a lineup of international speakers specialized in various fields under the umbrella of supporting technology businesses and promoting safety solutions. The conference also focused on key issues that are ranked high in our priorities within the bank's targeted strategy that aims to raise the level of performance across all sectors, especially in the field of information technology."

Al-Mattar concluded by highlighting the pioneering role played by KIB in keeping pace with digital development and cybersecurity, in line with Kuwait's 2035 vision and plans that aim to advance the future of business in Kuwait. He affirmed KIB's participation in all activities and initiatives that are in line with this approach, underlining the Bank's commitment to the principles of safe and sustainable development across all sectors and departments.

The ISOA conference witnessed the participation of many organizations and institutions from the public and private sectors in Kuwait, especially from the banking and business sectors. During the conference, several issues were discussed, including the digital transformation plan and challenges, defining and managing cybersecurity, supporting the leadership role of women in the business world, business opportunities in Kuwait, and combating human trafficking. Participants in the conference also agreed on a set of general and binding recommendations to be followed and applied in order to ensure a safe and smooth transition to the next stages of the digital transformation strategy.
