Kuwait Syrian Holding reported that its net loss surged to KD 7.2 million (USD 24.4 million/EUR 21.5 million) for the twelve months to December 2014 from a net loss of KD 994,400 a year earlier. The loss per share stood at 24.08 fils, compared with 3.31 fils. The company explained the negative performance with a KD 11.2 million loss, resulting from the sale of its stakes in Syria-based subsidiaries.
