Kung Long Batteries Industrial Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,211.413 million compared to TWD 1,980.684 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 369.716 million compared to TWD 275.741 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 286.505 million compared to TWD 218.047 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.51 compared to TWD 2.67 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.49 compared to TWD 2.67 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 6,379.157 million compared to TWD 5,681.768 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 957.089 million compared to TWD 907.622 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 785.421 million compared to TWD 664.612 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 9.61 compared to TWD 8.14 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 9.57 compared to TWD 8.11 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include sealed lighting batteries, locomotive batteries, automobile batteries and related raw materials.
