Michael Aldwell

Executive Vice President Sea Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel International AG

Michael Aldwell (New Zealander, born 1984) became the Executive Vice President for Sea Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel International AG in October 2023. Kuehne+Nagel is one of the world's leading logistics providers and number one in Sea and Air Logistics, based in Switzerland. With his long-standinglogistics experience across different geographies, Michael Aldwell's goal is to further develop Kuehne+Nagel's Sea Logistics market presence and reach, whilst maintaining its number one position.

Michael Aldwell studied business administration at Lincoln University, New Zealand, and at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, California. He began his career at Kuehne+Nagel in Auckland, New Zealand in 2008. Until 2016, he held various management positions in North America. He then went back to his roots, assuming the role of Managing Director for New Zealand. In the years to come, he held several senior management positions in the Middle East and Africa, and North America. At the beginning of 2023, he became the Global Head of Products Sales & Marketing for Sea Logistics, based in Schindellegi, Switzerland.

Michael Aldwell brings over 15 years of experience in global logistics and transportation, covering a broad range of business functions in strategy and performance development, global key account management, and management of local and regional operational organisations.
