Kondotec Inc. reported consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2021. For the year, the company reported consolidated net sales of JPY 59,562 million against JPY 60,599 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 3,354 million against JPY 4,085 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,561 million against JPY 2,875 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 59.60 against JPY 107.46 a year ago.
For the year, the company reported non-consolidated net sales of JPY 45,247 million against JPY 48,646 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 3,151 million against JPY 3,850 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 1,286 million against JPY 2,692 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 49.12 against JPY 100.63 a year ago.
KONDOTEC INC. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture, purchase and sale of construction materials. The Company has three business segments. The Industrial Materials segment is engaged in the manufacture, purchase and sale of civil engineering and construction materials such as roof drains, floor hatches, suspension rings, brackets, balcony hardware, screws, turnbuckles and joint hardware, and construction equipment such as welding machines, drilling machines and concrete cutters, as well as the provision of rental services. The Steel Structure Materials segment is engaged in the manufacture, purchase and sale of construction related materials such as brace sheets for steel structure processors. The Electrical Facility Materials segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of electrical equipment such as photovoltaic battery modules, air conditioners and lighting equipment for electrical contractors and consumer electronics retailers.
