KENKO Mayonnaise Co. Ltd. announced consolidated financial results for the nine months ended December 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company's net sales were JPY 54,376 million against JPY 50,503 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,527 million against JPY 2,833 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 3,559 million against JPY 2,810 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 2,521 million against JPY 2,188 million a year ago. Earnings per share were JPY 177.45 against JPY 153.98 a year ago. Profit before income taxes was JPY 3,592 million against JPY 3,004 million a year ago.
For the year ending March 31, 2017, the company expected dividend of JPY 16.00 per share against JPY 17.00 per share paid for the same period a year ago.
For the year ending March 31, 2017, the company expected net sales of JPY 70,800 million, operating income of JPY 4,100 million, ordinary income of JPY 4,200 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 2,680 million or JPY 188.59 per share.
