Notice Concerning

Application for Selecting the Prime Market, a New Market Segment

On July 9, 2021, Kajima Corporation (the "Company") received the primary screening results from Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. ("TSE") on whether the Company satisfies the listing criteria under the new market segment framework, and confirmed that it qualifies for the Prime Market.

The Company hereby announces that, based on the primary results, it resolved at the Board of Directors' Meeting held today to select the Prime Market under TSE's new market segment framework scheduled to be implemented on April 4, 2022.

Going forward, the Company will proceed with necessary procedures to apply for the new market segment it selected in accordance with the timeline set forth by TSE.

The Company will constantly maintain a high level of governance and strive to achieve sustainable growth and improve corporate value over the medium- to long-term.
