The preliminary competition of "2021 National Competition of Occupational Skills - Hong Kong Foundry Association Die Casting Skills Competition", which was hosted by Hong Kong Foundry Association and co-organized by Ka Shui Group and the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Light Alloy Innovation Center, was successfully held at Ka Shui Technology Park, Daya Bay district of Huizhou city on 24th and 25th of September . The theme of the skills competition is "To Build up Skilled Elites and Promote the Spirit of Craftmanship".

An Opening Speech Delivered by Mr. Chu Weiman, CEO of Ka Shui Group
The preliminary competition of "Hong Kong Foundry Association Die Casting Skills Competition" aimed at selecting die casting industry elites from outstanding die casting enterprises in Greater Bay Area to participate the final competition of "2021 National Industrial Skills Competition", which will be held in Shandong Province in November. There were seven teams participating in this preliminary competition and they are the technical professionals from the production lines of seven die-casting enterprises in Greater Bay Area. Ka Shui has assigned two teams to participate. The competition was divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge examination and practical skills examination. Once the competition started, all participants have highly concentrated on the competition.
All participants had done their written test seriously
A series of practical skill assessments such as mould installation in a die-casting machine, parameters adjustment of the die-casting machine, mould removal and mould maintenance, each team perform every operation step in an orderly manner
After the keen competition, Ka Shui Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. and Ka Yi Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd., the subsidiaries of Ka Shui Group, gained the qualification for final competition and they are two out of four corporate teams to participate in the "2021 National Industrial Skills Competition". Afterwards, these teams will go through more professional trainings under the guidance of the industry experts from the Hong Kong Foundry Association so as to strive for higher-level honors representing die-casting enterprises in Greater Bay Area.

This event aims at promoting the development of technical, knowledge and complex skilled talents of the die casting industry, and playing the leading role of key die casting enterprises, and providing quality and professional assurance for the talents of the industry.
The members of "Ka Shui" and "Ka Yi" teams representing Ka Shui Group are the basic workers from production lines. According to their professional experience accumulated from rigorous and strict requirements of daily die casting production of Ka Shui Group, both teams can successfully enter to the final competition. Ka Shui will continue to cultivate technical talents and strive to promote the high-quality development of die casting industry.
