JP Elektroprivreda BiH d d Sarajevo : Open construction site HPP "Vranduk"

Executive Manager for capital investment in Elektroprivreda Bih dr.Senad Salkić pointing importance of new plant construction said that future five years of the investment cycle in worth of 2 billion KM will be contribution to economic growth as great interest of electro energy sector . The investment cycle arising from the decision of FBiH Government is driving force for economy and contribution for local communities and economy , said dr.Salkić.
Bakir Izetbegović, Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovibna , has officially declared begin of the works emphasizing that construction of HPP ¨Vranduk¨ is one of projects which will turn Bosnia and Herzegovina into a huge construction site and the next year will be marked by massive construction of infrastructure .
Denis Zvizdić, Chairman of Council of Minister BiH pointed to European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina where those investments are what European Union require
Fadil Novalić, Premier of FBiH pointed to the energy independence as official economy strategy of FBiH .
Nermin Džindić, Minister of energy , mining and industry in FBiH spoke about importance to fullfill work tasks for using renewable energy sources and the rivers potentials .
HPP ¨Vranduk¨ with installed capacity of 19,6 MW will produce annualy 100 GWh electricity by which will be increased share of electricity producing from renewable sources and decreased emission of CO2 .
Hydro Power Plant ' Vranduk¨ is financed by funds of JP Elektroprivreda BiH and credits of European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The plant will be constructed by Joint Venture STRABAG AG Austria.
The works completion is planned for 11. November 2019.
During exploatation of the facilities , by inflow of the funds based on contracted annual fee concession from water contrubutions and income taxes will be improved the financed basis for development of local and wider social community.
JP Elektroprivreda BiH has financed through friendly environment number of projects as from road infrstructure, lighting , sewage and sports in the local communities close to location of HPP ¨Vranduk¨.
