CHICAGO, Jan. 20, 2021 - Property managers and owners will now have streamlined access to actionable data about their properties and portfolios at their fingertips. JLL's Property Management Group is launching Acumen, a comprehensive management analytics and reporting tool that provides insights about properties in real-time, in the Americas.

Acumen was first launched in JLL's Asia Pacific region (APAC) in 2015 and now has over 1,165 users. Due to increasing demand for data because of the pandemic, accelerated efforts have now made Acumen available for users in select markets in the Americas with a full roll out planned in Q2 2021. The platform was designed to assist property managers in providing best-in-class service and expertise to clients and tenants, and provide building owners with portfolio level performance to aid in strategy and planning with insights surrounding five key features: executive summary; financials; tenancy management; retail; and scorecards and alerts.

'The platform is collaborative, productive, convenient and intelligent,' states Mark Zettl, President of JLL's Property Management Group. 'Acumen is an industry gamechanger - created to help our partners, clients and stakeholders make better-informed and strategic decisions and mitigate risk.'

Acumen cuts through the noise and presents easy-to-interpret data, has personalized preference options to enhance the user journey and experience, and is accessible from multiple devices including mobile. These customizable metrics can help determine what's impacting portfolio performance, like leasing and occupancy, and identify focal points for each property.

'Adapting your property management strategy is imperative to remaining resilient and agile in navigating the current climate,' Zettl continues. 'It's important more than ever to plan for health and wellness expenditures and every other facet of managing a safe property. Additionally, with so much attention focused on leases and rent collections, Acumen provides a holistic view on what a client's portfolio looks like now, what it might look like in the future and what key metrics they should pay attention to maximize performance.'
