Jia Jie Biomedical Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 54.351 million compared to TWD 69.662 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 2.192 million compared to TWD 917,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.066 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.343 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.07 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 192.778 million compared to TWD 256.753 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 35.255 million compared to TWD 4.527 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 22.001 million compared to TWD 10.212 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.32 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago.
Jia Jie Biomedical Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the processing, production and distribution of turtles and turtle processed products. The Company operates through two business segments. Taiwan Operation segment is engaged in the production and sale of health foods. China Mainland Operation segment is engaged in the production of water purification equipment and related parts. Products are include nutrition and health care series, health water series, home supplies series. Products are mainly sold to Taiwan and mainland China.
