Jean Co.,Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 454.86 million compared to TWD 921.85 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 72.79 million compared to TWD 327.85 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2854 compared to TWD 1.2869 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2854 compared to TWD 1.2775 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 485.76 million compared to TWD 1,140.87 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 97.1 million compared to TWD 362.51 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3901 compared to TWD 1.4267 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3806 compared to TWD 1.4081 a year ago.
Jean Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of car monitors. The Companyâs car monitor products mainly include 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch and 10.2-inch wide rear-seat headrest, ceiling, back-hanging car audio and video entertainment system, car information display system, car liquid crystal display (LCD) audio navigation host, car camera and driving recorder. The Company is also involved in the trading and leasing of real estate to generate rental income. The company's products are mainly sold to the United States of America (the USA), Europe and Japan. The Company is also engaged in the investment and development businesses through its subsidiaries.
