ISS A/S : wins significant expansion and extension with PostNord across the Nordics

ISS A/S, a global leading facility services provider, and PostNord, a leading logistics company in the Nordics, will significantly expand their partnership, almost tripling the size of the current contract to approximately SEK 450 million annually.

Successively ramping up from 1 April 2016, ISS will deliver all facility services to PostNord across the Nordic countries in an Integrated Facility Services (IFS) solution. The new contract runs for three years (until the end of 2018) with a possible further two-year extension.

The geographic reach of ISS, the ability to deliver solutions for complex demands, and the combination of quality and costs were important elements when PostNord chose ISS as the future facility services partner.

With the expanded and extended partnership, PostNord will reduce the number of facility service subcontractors for the company across the Nordic countries from approximately 1,000 to one main partner, ISS.

• ISS has delivered facility services to PostNord since year 2000.
• Under the new contract, ISS will employ approximately 400 employees.
• From April 2016, ISS will deliver cleaning, property, catering, product & support services, security as well as waste management in an Integrated Facility Services (IFS) solution across the Nordic region, including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
