iPeople, inc. announced that the company has appointed Edgardo Augusto Grau Jr. as Chief Risk Officer, with effect from August 16, 2019. He has 19 years' experience in the financial markets, as an examiner, financial analyst and policy developer at the Office of Thrift Supervision (now Office of The Comptroller of the Currency), an agency under the US Department of Treasury. In this capacity, he provided supervisory monitoring of local and regional financial institutions, both healthy and distressed. He has expertise in mortgage banking, real estate lending, asset securitization, risk management, consumer compliance, and holding company oversight. He has consulting experience with startups as well as small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SME).
