Report: Announcement of Informal Decision to Join Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan as a Pavilion ～Joint Pavilion Run by Osaka Metropolitan University (currently Osaka City University) and

Iida Group Holdings Co. , Ltd.～

Iida Group Holdings Co. , Ltd.(hereafter "the Company", President and Representative Director: Masashi Kanei, Musashino-shi Tokyo) announces that it informally decided to join

Japan, to be held in 2025, as a companies/organizations pavilion with Osaka Metropolitan University (to be born in April, 2022, currently Osaka City University, Chairman: Yoshiki Nishizawa, Abeno-ku Osaka). This will be the first University-Industry type pavilion in Japan.

Osaka City University and the Company have set up a joint research division, cooperated in R&D, based on a theme of "Improvement of Health on People, Societies and the Earth", and focused on realization of "Forward-Looking House" and "Community Building", which can create sustainable housing, life and society.

The main theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", is exactly what we would like to achieve in the future. In the pavilion, "Honaikude", a student organization composed of students of Osaka City University and Osaka Prefecture University, who have been trying hard to join the event, will participate, too. Therefore, the pavilion will be planned and managed from a viewpoint of student, university and industry.

In the pavilion, which is full of "dreams" and "hopes", the Company will offer various ideas for contribution to SDGs through the meeting with people from around the world, think together with them about what each of us should do to realize "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", and try hard to make all of them feel "happy".
