Gary Cohn to deliver keynote address at TPM - the World's Largest Container Shipping Conference
IBM Vice Chairman and former Director of the National Economic Council Gary Cohn will address the 2022 TPM conference, the major North American container shipping event, taking place from February 27 to March 2 in Long Beach.
Cohn will offer his perspective on the short- and long-term impact of supply chain disruption and participate in a question-and-answer session hosted by Adam Kansler, President of Financial Services at IHS Markit.
Before serving in the White House from January 2017 until April 2018, Cohn was President and Chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs from 2006-2016, having joined the company in 1990.
The TPM conference has been held annually since 2001 and is the world's largest container shipping event, bringing together over 2,000 attendees representing ocean carriers, logistics firms, ports, terminals and railroads, including several hundred importer/exporter companies including retailers, manufacturers and other major shippers.
"Supply chain disruptions and port bottlenecks have dominated the agenda last year and will continue to be an important topic as economies adjust to a new post-Covid normal," said Peter Tirschwell, VP of M&T at IHS Markit and Chairman of TPM.
