SUNNY ISLES, Fla. (AP) _ Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP) on Friday reported a second-quarter loss of $136 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Sunny Isles, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 53 cents.
The diversified holding company posted revenue of $2.99 billion in the period.
Icahn Enterprises shares have risen 16% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 13% in the last 12 months.
