SEOUL - Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) announced today that it and Scott Drennan agreed to voluntarily separate. Drennan, building on a 26-year career in VTOL development, was appointed in April as vice president of UAM Division to lead research and development.

'The passion HMG and I share for innovation and transforming the future of mobility created an environment for us to collaborate and kickstart Hyundai's Urban Air Mobility Division. I'm grateful for the opportunity with the Group, but I am now ready to move on to my next challenge,' said Drennan.

'Hyundai Motor Group appreciates the expertise Scott shared with us and his contributions to the aerospace and advanced air mobility communities,' noted Jaiwon Shin, Executive Vice President and Head of UAM Division. 'Scott played an integral role in the start-up phase of our growth and development. We wish him well as he continues shaping the mobility sector.'
