Horizon Bancorp announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2018. For the fourth quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 33.836 million compared to USD 31.455 million a year ago. Net income was USD 13.133 million compared to USD 7.650 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.34 compared to USD 0.2 a year ago. For the full year, net interest income was USD 134.569 million compared to USD 112.100 million a year ago. Net income was USD 53.117 million compared to USD 33.117 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.39 compared to USD 0.96 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 1.38 compared to USD 0.95 a year ago.
