HIWAVE TECHNOLOGIES PLC

HiWave Technologies plc (the "Company") is pleased
to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, HiWave
Technologies (UK) Limited ("HiWave UK"), has signed
an agreement (the "2012 Agreement") with Nissha
Printing Co., Ltd ("Nissha") to set out new terms
of contractual relationship between them.
The 2012 Agreement replaces all previous contractual
arrangements between
HiWave UK and Nissha. The new agreement sets out a framework
pursuant to which, amongst other things, HiWave will take
responsibility for development and provision of transducers
and controllers for haptics applications. HiWave UK has
agreed to license previously licensed and assigned patents to
Nissha on a non-exclusive basis on condition that Nissha uses
HiWave haptic components. The patents that are the subject
matter of the 2012 Agreement constitute any and all patents
that have previously been assigned or licensed to Nissha.
HiWave intends to continue strengthening its portfolio of
intellectual property in the field of haptics through further
patent filings, and to deploy its technology in its target
market sectors on an unrestricted basis.
