Havells India Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 32,380.4 million compared to INR 24,594.9 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 32,713.3 million compared to INR 25,389.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,023.9 million compared to INR 3,263.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 4.83 compared to INR 5.21 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 4.83 compared to INR 5.21 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 58,480.1 million compared to INR 39,428.9 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 59,155 million compared to INR 40,545.5 million a year ago. Net income was INR 5,381.7 million compared to INR 3,903.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.59 compared to INR 6.23 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.59 compared to INR 6.23 a year ago.
Havells India Limited is an India-based fast moving electrical goods (FMEG) company. The Company is also engaged in the manufacturing of power distribution equipment. The Companyâs products include industrial and domestic circuit protection devices, cables and wires, motors, fans, modular switches, home appliances, air conditioners, electric water heaters, power capacitors, luminaires for domestic, commercial, and industrial applications. The Company has brand showroom in the electrical industry, namely Havells Exclusive Brand Stores. It has approximately 700+ Havells Exclusive Brand Stores across the country, which helps customers, both domestic and commercial, to choose from a variety of products for different applications. The Company also offers door-step service via its initiative Havells Connect. It owns various brands, Havells, Lloyd, Crabtree and Standard. Its network constitutes of approximately 4000 professionals, over 14000 plus dealers and 35 branches in the country.
