Impact of Earthquake in the Coast of Fukushima Prefecture

A strong earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale (maximum seismic intensity of upper 6) struck off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture in the Tohoku area at around 11:36 pm on March 16, 2022. GLP J-REIT would like to express its deepest sympathy to the earthquake victims.

Presently, there has been no personal injuries due to the earthquake in its seven properties* in the Tohoku area. The estimated amount of repair cost is approximately JPY 400 million (approximately 0.05% of the total acquisition price of GLP J-REIT portfolio), and no significant damages that may affect GLP J-REIT's operation are confirmed as of today.

An update will be provided if any damages that may affect GLP J-REIT's operation are found.

*GLP Morioka, GLP Tomiya, GLP Koriyama I, GLP Koriyama III, GLP Sendai, GLP Ogimachi and GLP Tomiya IV are the seven properties owned by GLP J-REIT in the Tohoku area.
