Globe Telecom, Inc. provided capital expenditure guidance for the year 2017. For the year, the company is allotting $750 million for capital expenditures, with the bulk intended to support data services. The capex would be funded through internally generated cash flow. The company want to keep the capex at a lower level in 2017 compared to last year's $1 billion. For 2017, the company said the plan is to continue using the bulk of the capex to boost data capacity amid growing demand for such service.
