Geberit reported consolidated sales results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2016. For the quarter, the company reported net sales amounted to CHF 637 million, an increase of 2.5% in Swiss francs. In local currencies, the organic sales growth rate reached 6.3%.

For the year 2016, the company reported sales of CHF 2.81 billion, corresponding to an increase of 8.3% in Swiss francs. This sales growth includes a positive net acquisition and divestment effect of CHF 32 million due to the first-time consolidation of Sanitec's sales in January and to the divestment of Koralle as of July 1, 2016. A favorable currency development led to sales increase of CHF 18 million or 0.7% versus previous year. The organic sales growth rate in local currencies reached 6.4% in 2016. This strong growth rate was positively influenced by an improved market environment in Europe, sales synergies from the integration of Sanitec and the elimination of the order backlog for the shower toilet, Mera, which contributed CHF 12 million to net sales in 2016.

For the year 2016, the company's adjusted EBITDA margin is forecast to be around 28.5%. CapEx should be around CHF 140 million and tax rate of around 13%.
