GAZPROM Gazprom Neft goods have received high jury ratings at the 'Russia's 100 Best Products' competition, with the company's gasoline, diesel, marine and aviation fuels, bitumen materials and lubricants (including polymer products) being included in the 2020 top 100.
Motor fuels produced at the company's Moscow and Omsk Refineries - gasoline, and winter and summer Euro-5 diesel fuels - were all recognised, with the high-performance G-DRIVE 100 fuel produced at the Omsk Refinery being awarded the 'Golden 100' mark in addition to the main award.
Products manufactured at the Moscow Refinery - jet fuel, liquefied gases and five road-bitumen brands- were also recognised, with the competition jury also noting the innovative bitumen products manufactured at the company's Ryazan bitumens plant - polymer-modified bitumen (PMB) binders, the formulation of which is adapted to meet the specific climatic and transport conditions of Russia's various regions.
The Omsk Refinery's new low-sulphur marine fuel, fully compliant with MARPOL-2020 Convention requirements, was awarded a diploma in the 'Industrial and Technical Products' category - this petroleum product being certified by the European Union and sold throughout Russia's largest ports.
The jury also noted the quality and performance of motor oils, transmission fluids and hydraulic fluids produced at the company's Omsk lubricants plants under its Gazpromneft and G-Energy brands. A further diploma winner from Omsk was polypropylene produced at the Poliom plant - a Gazprom Neft-SIBUR joint venture: this product being used to produce multifunctional packaging in Russia and abroad.
Gazprom Neft is undertaking a major programme to modernise its Moscow and Omsk Refineries, involving total investment of more than RUB700 billion by 2025. The first stage of this modernisation has involved the construction and reconstruction of key technological facilities, allowing the complete transition to the production of Euro-5 fuels, significantly improving energy efficiency and environmental friendliness in production. The implementation of the second phase of this modernisation programme is now ongoing, as a result of which the refining depth ('conversion factor') and light product yield are expected to match the highest international standards.
