MOSCOW, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Russian gas giant Gazprom said in a daily update it expects its natural gas transit via Ukraine at 24.4 million cubic metres (mcm) on Friday, further declining from 25.1 mcm seen on Thursday.

Gazprom's daily flows had already fallen to 32.6 mcm via the Sudzha metering point on Tuesday and Wednesday, down almost 8% from the previous several days.

Sources and industry managers have said the flows had declined amid mild weather in Europe and lower gas demand. (Reporting by Vladimir Soldatkin; Editing by Christian Schmollinger)
