FTI Consulting : Expands Construction Solutions Practice Capabilities in Australia with Managing Director Neil Birchall

Sydney, 28 January 2021 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the continued investment in its Australian practice with the appointment of Neil Birchall as a Managing Director in the Constructions Solutions practice within the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment, based in Brisbane.

Mr. Birchall joins FTI Consulting from SJA Construction Services, further expanding FTI Consulting's construction and dispute resolution expertise on the East Coast of Australia.

Mr. Birchall is a Quantity Surveyor with more than 34 years of construction and dispute resolution experience, including in the oil and gas, mining, infrastructure and transport, and public utilities sectors. He specialises in expert witness (quantum and delay), commercial advisory and dispute avoidance and has advised on matters in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe. Mr. Birchall has been appointed on numerous occasions as an independent Expert Witness on quantum and delay claims in complex arbitration and litigation matters.
