Freemelt receives the first eMELT-iD order in the Americas from one of the leading universities aiming to accelerate 3D printing as a manufacturing technology for serial production of industrial metal applications. The total order value is approximately MSEK6.6 with expected delivery in Q2 2024.

The customer, one of the most prominent American universities, is driving the development and industrialization of innovative 3D printing technologies for industrial serial production of critical components for high-demand industrial applications.

Freemelt has an established and growing customer base in North America for the research machine Freemelt ONE with eight machines installed at universities and research institutes. This eMELT-iD order, is the first industrial machine from Freemelt on the American market, aiming to facilitate application and product development, paving the way for serial production of high-demand metal applications within the American industry.
