Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:FET) acquired assets of COOPER Valves, LLC and 100% stake in Innovate Valve Components for $14.5 million on January 9, 2017. The aggregate consideration includes the issuance of stock valued at $4.5 million and certain contingent cash payments. COOPER Valve employees will join Forum Energy Technologies. Jim Marshall,Laura Katherine Mann, Gail Stewart and Krisa Benskin of Baker Botts L.L.P acted as legal advisors to Forum Energy Technologies, Inc.
