FNG : QUORUM NOT REACHED FOR THE GENERAL BONDHOLDERS’ MEETING OF 19 MAY 2020

Mechelen, 18 May 2020, 1:50 PM CEST - FNG Group NV, the subsidiary of FNG NV (FNG, Euronext Brussels and Euronext Amsterdam) ('FNG') announced on 4 May 2020 the invitation of the holders of the bonds issued on 1 June 2012 and 20 March 2015 to attend the general bondholders' meeting on 19 May 2020. The number of notifications to attend the extraordinary general bondholders' meeting was not sufficient to reach the required quorum of at least three quarters of the total nominal value of the bonds. Therefore, the extraordinary general meeting of 19 May 2020 will not take place. The group intends to convene a general meeting for each of the outstanding bonds shortly in order to request a deferral of payments and standstill for three months. This will give the group the opportunity to work out a recovery plan with the various stakeholders, which can then also be proposed to the bondholders.
