Finisar Corporation Appoints Michael L. Dreyer to the Board, Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee

On December 8, 2015, the Board of Directors of Finisar Corporation appointed Michael L. Dreyer to fill an existing vacancy on the Board. Mr. Dreyer will serve as a director until the annual meeting of stockholders in 2017. Mr. Dreyer has been appointed to the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Mr. Dreyer is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Silicon Valley Bank. Mr. Dreyer is also currently a director of F5 Networks Inc.
