On August 22, 2022, Farmers and Merchants Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Farmers and Merchants Bancshares, Inc. received a letter from John J. Schuster, Jr. in which he notified the Bank that he was retiring as a director of the Bank and of the Company for personal reasons. Mr. Schuster's decision to retire was not due to a disagreement with the Bank or the Company on any matter relating to their respective operations, policies or practices.
Farmers and Merchants Bank is a Maryland commercial bank engaged in a general commercial and retail banking business. The Bank provides a range of personal banking services designed to meet the needs of local consumers.
