Exedy Corporation plans to pay a dividend of ¥35.00 per share for the year ending March 31, 2016 compared to ¥35.00 per share paid in the same period in 2015.
The company reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 198,088 million compared to JPY 189,165 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 14,147 million compared to JPY 13,823 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 13,265 million compared to JPY 15,861 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 8,676 million or JPY 180.69 per share compared to JPY 7,893 million or JPY 164.41 per share a year ago.
For the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2016, the company forecasts consolidated net sales of JPY 270,000 million, operating income of JPY 20,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 19,000 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 10,500 million or JPY 218.71 per share.
Exedy Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of manual and automatic transmission-related automobile components. The Company has two business segments. The Manual Transmission (MT) Related segment provides clutch discs, clutch covers and two-mass flywheels, among others. The Automatic Transmission (AT) Related segment provides torque converters and automatic transmissions parts. The others business provides motorcycle clutches, power shift transmissions and related parts, brakes, retarders and mechanical equipment, among others. This segment also provides transportation services.
