Enplas Corporation announced consolidated earnings results for the three months ended June 30, 2019. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 8,286 million against JPY 8,019 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 852 million against JPY 712 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 630 million against JPY 505 million a year ago. Earnings per share was JPY 49.91 against JPY 39.53 a year ago.
For the Six months ending September 30, 2019, the company expects net sales to be JPY 15,200 million, operating profit to be JPY 800 million, profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 560 million and earnings per share to be JPY 44.99.
For the full year, the company expects net sales to be JPY 32,000 million, operating profit to be JPY 2,000 million, profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 1,400 million and earnings per share to be JPY 112.47.
ENPLAS CORPORATION is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and sale of various products made of engineering plastics and composite materials. The Company operates in three business segments. The Engineering Plastic segment manufactures and sells mechanical products used for high-precision gear-based office automation (OA) and telecommunications devices, among others. The Semiconductor Equipment segment offers integrated circuit (IC) sockets and others. The Optical segment offers optical communication devices and light-emitting diode (LED). The others business engages in the research and development related to the Company's businesses.
