02.474.103/0001-19, (traded on the BM&FBovespa's Novo Mercado under the ticker TBLE3), the largest private power generator in Brazil, is proud to announce to its shareholders and the market in general that it continues to be part of the BM&FBovespa Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) for the eighth consecutive year.
According to the Deliberative Council of ISE and BM&FBovespa, the new portfolio will be composed by 51 shares from the 37 participant companies, representing 16 different industries, with a market value of approximately R$ 1.1 trillion, equivalent to 44.8% of the total market value of the companies with shares traded at the BM&FBovespa in November
26, 2012.
The questionnaire was prepared by the Centro de Estudos em Sustentabilidade (GVCes) from the Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-EAESP). This year, 183 issuing companies of the 200 more liquid shares of the BM&FBovespa were invited to the process.
The participation of Tractebel Energia in in the index in all years since its creation in 2005 is an important recognition of its commitment to sustainable development and a superior economic, environmental and corporate governance performance.
The new portfolio will be in effect from January 7, 2013 to January 3, 2014
