Enel Generacion Peru SAA, formerly Edegel SAA, is a Peru-based company primarily engaged in the electric power generation and distribution. The Company has a total installed capacity of more than 1,400 megawatts (MW) and it supplies to the Peruvian National Grid. The Companyâs facilities include approximately ten power stations, including hydroelectric power plants located in the basins of the Santa Eulalia and Rimac rivers, as well as thermal power stations in the Lima and Ventanilla Districts. The Company's subsidiaries include Chinango SAC, which operates the Yanango and Chamay hydroelectric plants, both located in the Junin Region. In addition, it is indirectly controlled by Enel Americas SA.
