Emaar The Economic City announced the decision of its board of directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board to appoint Mr. Ahmed Bin Ibrahim Linjawy as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Ahmed Linjawy has 25 years of management experience and has held several managerial Person positions at Procter & Gamble International in Saudi Arabia, the last of which was director of corporate affairs. Ahmed joined Emaar Economic City's executive team in December 2006, and contributed into the establishment of several anchor and strategic projects in King Abdullah Economic City's, such as King Abdullah Port and the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Entrepreneurship College, and is currently a member of their board of directors. Mr. Linjawy was the President of the Industrial Valley at the time of its establishment, and contributed into attracting many international companies that have established their factories for the first time in Saudi Arabia.
