The Carrefour Group inaugurates some fifty stores in Israel, as part of a franchise partnership signed in March 2022 with the Sraelian company Electra Consumer Products and its subsidiary Yenot Bitan tag. In a context of strong pressure on purchasing power, the arrival of Carrefour in Israel will allow Israeli customers to access a competitive and innovative offer for their daily purchases.

Carrefour offers the full diversity of the Group's formats, opening 3 hypermarkets, 10 supermarkets and 37 convenience stores, including 9 stores located in Tel Aviv. Carrefour also offers an e-commerce offer, with the creation of an online sales site.

Carrefour imports more than 1,200 products into Israel, including more than 400 kosher-certified Carrefour-branded food products, some of which have already been on sale since June 2022. Carrefour is also developing a local production of its branded products, which already makes it possible to supply stores with several references of its Carrefour Baby range produced in Israel.

The Group plans to open anotherhundred stores by the end of 2024.

Israel is the Carrefour Group's 43rd country of activity, 34 of which are managed as franchises. The Carrefour 2026 strategic plan sets an ambitious goal of opening 10 new international franchises.

Carrefour is proud to open 50 stores in Israel today and to pursue its international development strategy. Israel is the 52nd country where Carrefour is present in the world, thanks in particular to our franchise partners. We are convinced that Carrefour Israel will provide a real answer to the purchasing power challenges of Israeli customers,' said Alexandre Bompard, Chairman and CEO of the Carrefour Group.
