Elec-Tech International Co., Ltd. (SZSE:002005) agreed to acquire additional 13.7% stake in Bengbu 3E Semiconductor Co., Ltd. from Bengbu Huachen Energy-Saving Technology Services Co., Ltd. for CNY 300 million on January 10, 2018. Post transfer, Elec-Tech International Co., Ltd. holdings will increase from 68.5% to 82.2%. The transaction has been approved by the Board of Elec-Tech International Co., Ltd. and does not need the shareholders’ approval.

Elec-Tech International Co., Ltd. is a China-based company principally engaged in the light emitting diode (LED) chips and application business and small household appliance business. The Company's small household appliance businesses include the research, development and manufacture of bread machines, ovens, coffee pots and blenders. Its LED businesses include the manufacture of LED epitaxial wafers, LED chips, LED packaging, LED lighting products and LED display screens, among others. The Company distributes its products within the domestic markets and to overseas markets.
