Edgewater Bancorp, Inc. is the holding company of Edgewater Bank (the Bank). The Bank is a state-chartered mutual savings association. The Bank's business consists primarily of taking deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations, in various loans. It also offers a range of deposit accounts. Its principal lending activity is originating one- to four-family residential real estate loans, commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate loans, consumer loans, including home equity lines of credit, watercraft and automobile loans, and residential and commercial construction loans. The Bank's investment portfolio consists of its investments in securities, which consist primarily of the United States government and federal agencies, state and political subdivisions, and mortgage-backed securities and collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs).
