It is a molecule naturally occurring in all life forms and can be transformed into a significant coenzyme NAD+ within cells, which is important to human metabolism. Its research, including Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) as an anti-aging health product has shown that NAD+ levels in the body will decrease with age, and that exogenous supplementation of NMN enhances NAD+ levels and thus the function of human cells.
