Ebara Jitsugyo Co.,Ltd. (TSE:6328) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 450,000 shares, representing 3.57% of its share capital, for ¥1,000 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to expand shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency. The program will expire on November 30, 2021. As of July 1, 2021, the company had 12,589,162 shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) and 840,838 shares in treasury.
EBARA JITSUGYO CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based manufacturing company operating in three business segments. The Environment segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of ozone densitometers, ozone application equipment, deodorization equipment, anti infectious disease measures, fish farm-related equipment and waste sorting equipment, among others. The Water Treatment segment is engaged in the design and construction of water supply facilities and sewerage facilities, as well as the provision of industrial waste water treatment services. The Wind and Hydraulic Powered Equipment and Thermal Equipment Related segment provides wind and hydraulic powered equipment, as well as the sale, construction and maintenance works of thermal equipment.
