DSP Group Inc.'s CAT-iq 2.0 Platform Powers Ooma's Telo Gateway, HD2 Smart Handset and Linx Adapter

DSP Group Inc. announced that Ooma chose DSP Group's XceedR CAT-iq 2.0 platform for integration into its recently launched Telo voice gateway, its HD2 Handset and the Linx adapter. The DSP Group's XceedR CAT-iq 2.0/DECT6.0 platform enables Ooma to deliver a rich featureset to its home phone customers, providing the market's most complete and affordable home phone experience. With XceedR CAT-iq 2.0, the new Ooma HD2 handsets offer smartphone features like color display, picture caller ID, cutting-edge HD voice clarity for richer, more natural-sounding conversations, an intercom to talk between handsets, call transfer, 3-way conferencing, handset software upgradability, polyphonic ring tones and more.

The Ooma Linx adapter, also based on XceedR CAT-iq 2.0, wirelessly connects corded terminals such as phones, fax machines or other telephony devices around the home to the Ooma Telo gateway using the latest DECT 6.0 technology.
