SUGAR LAND, Texas, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CVI) announced today the promotion of Mike Puddy to senior vice president, refined products and risk management, reporting to Wyatt Jernigan, executive vice president, crude oil acquisition and petroleum marketing.

Puddy will be responsible for overseeing the marketing of all finished products and the procurement of unfinished feedstocks and blendstocks for the refinery, as well as all required risk management processes associated with refinery and marketing operations. Puddy formerly served as vice president, refined products and risk management.

Puddy has 29 years of experience in risk management, trading and petroleum supply, spending most of his career with Coastal Corporation and later El Paso, last serving as senior vice president, product supply and trading.
