Notice Regarding Resolution on Details of Stock Buyback

Credit Saison Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: "Credit Saison") hereby announces that, at a meeting held on May 15, 2024, the Board of Directors resolved to authorize a stock buyback under Article 156 of the Companies Act, as applied pursuant to Article 165 (3) of the Companies Act, as follows.

1. Purpose of stock buyback
In light of the Credit Saison Group Medium-Term Management Plan for fiscal years 2024-2026 as described
in the Company's press release dated today, "Notice Regarding Establishment of the Credit Saison Group Medium-term Management Plan for Fiscal Years 2024 to 2026 and Action on Cost of Capital and Share Price- Conscious Management," and in order to optimize the amount of equity capital to improve capital efficiency and enable execution of flexible capital policy in the future after considering its financial condition and stock prices, etc., in order to optimize the amount of equity.
